CDN Attack Police in Coahuila

Two state police officer reported as being killed

Heavily armed confrontation took place between state police and the Cartel Del Noreste (CDN) just 2 miles from the United States (Texas) border.

At least two police officers were killed, and several were injured. The firefight took place on a highway between 3 different states (the states of Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas).

Cartel Del Noreste members wanted to enter Coahuila via the La Ribereña highway from the state of Nuevo León and Tamaulipas. The Cartel also created crossing points, seeking to cross paths with the military or the national guard in order to confront them.

Last week, the CDN Cartel carried out at least 7 attacks against Mexican forces in Coahuila and used at least two snipers during these engagements (two of them were fired from more than a kilometer away).

Mayor Norma Treviño confirmed the deaths of the state police officers and ordered ambulance support to the scene. She conveyed her condolences to the relatives of the fallen policemen who laid down their lives to maintain the security and peace of the state during the encounter

Cartel del Noreste (CDN); FEC "FUERZAS ESPECIALES COAHUILA" CHUKYS originally from Nuevo Laredo. Some recent photos of some of the sicarios are from the group “Chuckys” or “Alfas” commanded by Ricky. In one photo you can see the nickname of one of them which apparently says “Ramses Alfa” on the radio.

This CDN criminal is nicknamed "Trasky" or "Chucky” and is said to be the master mind behind the attack on the state police who were ambushed by the CDN.
